Goodrich Castle Built in the 1100’s, is a now ruinous Norman medieval castle north of the village of Goodrich in Herefordshire, England, controlling a key location between Monmouth and Ross-on-Wye. Standing in open countryside above the River Wye, Goodrich Castle is one of the finest and best preserved of all English medieval castles. It is close to the Welsh Border, in the Marches.
